May God rest her soul in eternal peace
It doesnt go Through
Hey my dear. Been trying your numbe for many days and it doesnt go through. Googled your name and then found the sad news. May your soul rest in Eternal peace
Patrick
Dear Joan, an elder sister and a loving friend you have been to me. The strength you had encourages me that in this life ahead of me, no matter the hurdles that come my way, all is possible through Christ who strengthens me.Though you are no more physically, your spirit and love surrounds us. See you when we get there.
SISTER
Lay softly in our sorrow
Lay down sister to die
And cover over, my sweet Father
Cover over her eyes
Your broken body, it cannot weather
The years of your youth still longs to spend
So go down gracefully, sleep with the angels
And wake up whole again
'cause it was not your time; that's a useless line
A fallen world took your life
But the God that sometimes can't be found
Will wrap Himself around you
So lay down,sister, lay down
Slower passing are the hours
To tell this tale that takes its time
But the finest moments no man can measure
Is to look your savior in the eyes
So take her tender to Your table
Take her from this killing floor
To taste the water that is forever
Let her be thirsty no more
It was not her time; that's a useless line
A fallen world took her life
But the God that sometimes can't be found
Will wrap Himself around you
So lay down,sister, lay down
And the God that sometimes can't be found
Will wrap Himself around you
So lay down, JOAN, lay down
SISTER
Lay softly in our sorrow
Lay down sister to die
And cover over, my sweet Father
Cover over her eyes
Your broken body, it cannot weather
The years of your youth still longs to spend
So go down gracefully, sleep with the angels
And wake up whole again
'cause it was not your time; that's a useless line
A fallen world took your life
But the God that sometimes can't be found
Will wrap Himself around you
So lay down,sister, lay down
Slower passing are the hours
To tell this tale that takes its time
But the finest moments no man can measure
Is to look your savior in the eyes
So take her tender to Your table
Take her from this killing floor
To taste the water that is forever
Let her be thirsty no more
It was not her time; that's a useless line
A fallen world took her life
But the God that sometimes can't be found
Will wrap Himself around you
So lay down,sister, lay down
And the God that sometimes can't be found
Will wrap Himself around you
So lay down, JOAN, lay down

CELEBRATING JOAN’S LIFE
Joan, my dear last born sister we fondly called “Sister”. I loved you. You were loved by many and highly favoured by the Almighty God. You were and still are a beautiful wonderful creation of God.
Joan you were strong willed. Through your illness, you challenged me with your great faith in God. That nothing is impossible before our God. You continually challenged me to pray. You believed our God changes things, for the better.
Joan, you were ambitious. You did not let your condition put you down. You had great dreams and plans for your life. You lived your life to the best, just as if nothing was happening.
I thank God for the precious gift you were in my life. You were a Jewel.
Joan: You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:6-8)
I will miss you Joan: My sister by birth, my sister in Christ and my friend.
Till we meet again. Good night Sister. Sleep well Sister.
All the Glory and all the Honour be unto our Almighty God.
Amen.
Yours Loving brother,
Christiaan Adika Adenya.
You touched many - we shall miss you
I know that you may not be able to read this tribute. But none-the-less, know that the sudden demise was not what we all anticipated.
On the evening of yr demise, i was by your bedside. We talked. And talked for a while in our favourite language (Maragoli). I was excited to see the smile, even though not so prolonged. I understood you were in pain. I felt your hands and they were warm. I left with one message - Happy Valentine.
God has a way of teaching us what is best. It was great to have known you. Rest well.
Gone too soon
I have known you Joan for many years since our years in UON. May God bless your soul. Much Love.
A BRIDGE CALLED LOVE
It takes us back to brighter years,
To happier sunlit days and to precious
Moments that will be with us always.
And those fond recollections,
Are treasured in the heart.
To bring us always close to those,
From whom we had to part.
There is a bridge of memories,
From earth to Heaven above.
It keeps our dear one’s near us,
It’s the bridge that we call love.
ANGEL OF GOD
KNOW THAT SHE IS IN HEAVEN WITH GOD, SHE IS BEAUTIFUL, THE FATHER (GOD) WANTED HER RETURN, I WILL PRAY WITH YOU FOR STRENGTH, KNOW SHE IS ALWAYS BESIDE YOU WATCHING OVER YOU AND NOW LIVES IN YOUR HEART AND MINE.
